1949 Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 SS Pinin Farina

Chassis number: 915769

Engine no: 923793

The "berlinetta" bodied by Pinin Farina on the Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 SS chassis number 915769 was commissioned by the noble Giovanni San Giorgio Gualtieri from Catania in 1949. Sold in 1950 remained unique, but the same design was repeated for a convertible, also made in a single copy for Ali Khan. The forms of this body will evolve in the extraordinary Lancia Aurelia B20, the first Italian GranTurismo. It seems this is also the first car in the world equipped with the twin headlights.
