The Giulietta SS captures Villa d'Este

After 60 years from the debut, at the Salone di Torino in 1957, the prototype of Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Speciale is back to be admire by the italian public at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este 2017.

After the great success of last year at Pebble Beach, where the SS took the 3rd place of class and the award "Most Elegant Closed Car", this year the car has convinced the jury and the public of the most important concours of Europe.

The public of Villa Erba has chosen the SS as the best car of green by assigning the BMW Group Trophy, the Best in Show of the concours.

For Corrado Lopresto, winner of four Coppa D'oro and other special awards, of class and public, it is the first victory of a higly coveted award of the jury, a official statement of the quality of the cars presented, that since 2001 until nowadays has told to the public of Villa d'Este the history and the italian style of automobile. 

As a wingman of the winner car, another car of the collection was present, the Lancia 12HP Alfa Couble Phaeton 1908, the most ancient existing Lancia in the world and the most ancient of the entire concours.
