In occasion of the 65 years of Alfa Romeo Giulietta, unique model of the italian production born in 1954 and produced until 1965, the Lopresto Collection has organized in collaboration with Museo dei Trasporti of Luzern and with Alfa Romeo Switzerland a unique exhibition of prototypes.
The exhibition, visible at the museum until the 12 of july, it was inaugurated the last 13 of june with a presentation of Corrado Lopresto, that has spoken about his career as a car collector with a particular focus on the brand Alfa Romeo, followed by a speach by Alessandro Maccolini, deisgner of FCA, author of the recent prototype Tonale.
Among the displayed cars there was the prototype of the Spider Pinin Farina presented at the salons of 1955, the alternative of Bertone designed by Scaglione, the prototype of the SS Bertone of the Salone di Torino in 1957 and the SZ "coda tronca" awarded by UNESCO for the restoration in 2016.
There were 13 cars throughout the exhibition, to cover all the different model variant (Berlina, Sprint, Spider, SS, SZ) in addition to the two model of Giulietta of the new generation (the first car of 1.8 turbo of 1984 and the Giulietta presented in Geneva in 2010).
