The Concorso d'Eleganza in Miniatura, after last year's success, returns in 2023 with its second edition.
The competing model makers will compete with the creation of "Mille Miglia" themed dioramas, which will be exhibited from 12th to the 20th February 2023 at the Mille Miglia Museum in Brescia.
A launch event for the competition was held on Sunday 12 February at 3.00 pm, with the presentation of the dioramas and a speech by Corrado Lopresto, who also presented his autobiographical book "The art of keeping art alive" It was also an opportunity to admire the “Inossidabile Eleganza” exhibition, which tells the story of the different approaches to the restoration of vintage cars through four cars from the Lopresto Collection. The photographs by Romana Zambon, which portray one of the cars on display, are also displayed as a side dish to the exhibition.
The award ceremony will also take place at the Mille Miglia Museum on Tuesday 16 May at 6.30 pm, in conjunction with the Villa d'Este Elegance Competition.
